23/09/2026Solidarity is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the very best of our culture: Director Ane Legarreta is at the helm, blending the essence and history of La Pamplonesa with the rebellious yet charitable spirit of La Mala Pékora. All proceeds will go to the Navarre Multiple Sclerosis Association (EM Navarra).
This charity event is supported and made possible by the Pamplona City Council and Caja Rural de Navarra, organisations that reaffirm their ongoing support for the community’s social causes. Furthermore, for this special occasion, the band will not be alone on stage; they will be joined by the stellar collaboration of La Mala Pékora. The well-known Navarran group will bring their energy and unique style to the evening, guaranteeing a dynamic, moving and unforgettable musical spectacle for all those in attendance. Ane Legarreta will guide two musical worlds, uniting them in a shared spirit of solidarity.
This artistic fusion will be a unique milestone thanks to the personalities of both protagonists. On the one hand, the iconic brass band La Pamplonesa will bring its century-old technical excellence, showcasing its instrumental versatility to embrace a different style. On the other hand, breaking the mould, La Mala Pékora will join the line-up – a hilarious, large-scale band from Allo (Tierra Estella) that has been revolutionising the stage for over a decade with its self-described style. Their live performances are rowdy, uninhibited and full of humour. The contrast between the symphonic rigour of La Pamplonesa and the festive revelry of the band from Tierra Estella promises a once-in-a-lifetime show.
All this energy will be channelled towards a priority cause. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, autoimmune and neurodegenerative disease of the central nervous system that affects the brain and spinal cord. The body’s own immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin (the protective sheath surrounding nerve fibres), disrupting proper communication between the brain and the rest of the body. As there is currently no cure for this condition, the quality of life of those affected depends entirely on early and ongoing treatment.
For this reason, the proceeds from this concert are so vital. Through EM, the funds raised will be channelled directly into specialised, comprehensive support services. This includes ongoing sessions of physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, social care, psychological support and neuropsychology. Every ticket sold will help to fund these essential multidisciplinary treatments and to purchase advanced rehabilitation technologies (such as exoskeletons and robotic aids) that enable those affected to maintain their independence for as long as possible.
